Elizabetha Moving Slowly Through Colombia
Elizabetha is still in no great hurry to get back to Chile. She continued through Colombia for another 50 km (31 mi) yesterday, and is now 39 kilometers from the Pacific and 206 km (128 mi) from Ecuador.
In February 2007, an FRG team is traveling to Chile to radio-tag several adult female tundra peregrines. We'll record their travels here, following their migration north to the arctic and then back to Chile next year.
