Sparrow King Approaching Lima
Sparrow King continues on his direct path north, having travelled 689 km (428 miles) over the last two days. He was approaching Lima, Peru, when the signals arrived and has now likely moved past that city.
In February 2007, an FRG team is traveling to Chile to radio-tag several adult female tundra peregrines. We'll record their travels here, following their migration north to the arctic and then back to Chile next year.
