Made it through the border yesterday with our new guide, Peruvian Luis Jussyf Velarde Mora. With his help, it took about three hours so we were very happy to have him along. So much paperwork!
He will be joining us for the entire trip to Ecuador and hopefully keep us out of trouble.
Currently sitting here in a hotel in Tacna waiting for our signals to arrive.
We lost two hours in time zone last night although Peru is directly north of Chile. OK.......
