Felipe Still Staging in Southern Peru

On his 20th day of migration, Felipe continued to remain in the Puna grasslands at around 15,000', so there is little change in his position.

Incidentally, this is a record for the number of days that a peregrine has remained at this altitude as far as we know. He seems to be adapting well to the reduced density of the atmosphere at that height and is presumably thriving up there.

I expect him to go north every day and every day I am more amazed that he is still up there.

How long will this continue?

Simple answer. No one knows.
