Waiting For Island Girl

Marco Saborio, our colleague and friend in Costa Rica, is headed for Limon on the Caribbean coast where Island Girl paused for awhile last year.

He is in touch with Don McCall who will call him with her coordinates as soon as Don receives them.

I also received the following e-mail from Gerardo Obando.

"Dear Falcon Research Group,

On behalf of the Scientific Committee of the Ornithological Association of Costa Rica (AOCR) we would like to request to keep us updated immediately (if possible) on the coordinates of Island Girl on their way through Costa Rica.

We have a large and strong group of Citizen Science members all around the country, and some of them are already waiting for Island Girl. For this reason we would like to get the coordinates in real time so that our people who are close to the locations can going out to watch and take pictures as soon as Island Girl is on the area.

You can keep us updated via email or even better through our Facebook group (preferably) where most of our members are always online .

Look forward to help you with data and pictures from Costa Rica. If it sounds interesting, we can start a way to establish a cooperation agreement between the two organizations.

Best regards,

Gerardo Obando
Scientific Committee, AOCR
Welcome aboard AOCR and good luck to all in your attempts to intercept her.
Including our associates at the hawk watching site of Kekoldi.
