Day five....Approaching the US

Don McCall reports today...

"Island Girl continued south-southwest through Ontario yesterday, toward Lake Superior.  We don't have last night's roosting location (missing occasional data because of a not-fully-charged battery), but by late morning today she had flown 340 km (211 mi) since the previous night's roost, and was about 40 kilometers from the northeastern shore of Lake Superior."

So we don't exactly know where she spent the night but she is still moving slightly to the west of south. At this point, it looks like she will be taking the central flyway route this year.

No doubt arrived in the US today.

Let's hope for some sunshine to charge up her battery.
