Into the US again...

Island Girl flew across Lake Superior and into the state of Michigan on Tuesday.

Her route is remarkably similar to her migration pathway from last fall.

She roosted well inland between Lake Superior and Lake Michigan and slept only about 36 miles SW of last years roost on the lake shore.

She roosted near the Seney National Wildlife Refuge in a small grove of trees near a tree plantation and not far from a gorgeous meandering creek with broad sandy beaches, perfect for bathing.
