Another easy day for Island Girl.
She only flew about 109 km (68 miles), crossing over the state line between Missouri and Arkansas and flying past Jonesboro.
She was much closer to Memphis and the Mississippi River last night, just about 66 miles to her east.
She found herself a riparian buffer forest to roost in for the night. There are both Bald Cypress and Sycamore trees in this protected zone. The surrounding habitat is open extensive cultivated farm lands.
The White River National Wildllife Refuge is located to her south.
