On Tuesday, Island Girl flew another 228 km (142 miles) up the coast of Colombia.
She chose to roost again in tropical forest at 740' elevation in the coastal mountains.
Her roost was only 4 km (2.8 miles) from her roost last fall near the coastal town of Bahia Solano.
Looks like a perfect area for her with high hills overlooking a broad sandy beach.
This is such a unique location that she must recognize it from before.
She is making excellent time through this part of her migration.
